A tradition was started here in Jamestown a few years ago, and it has become a much-anticipated event of the Christmas holiday.
The Candlelight Stroll takes place this year on Friday, December 15, 2006 at 6:00 PM. Luminaries are set out by the five down-town churches.
The Candlelight Stroll begins at our Church, with about a 10-minute service. Then we 'stroll' to the next church, until each of the five churches has been visited and presented their program.
We travel from the Jamestown Church of the Nazarene, to the Holy Spirit Catholic Church, to the Jamestown United Methodist Church, to the Jamestown First Baptist Church, and finish at the Jamestown First Christian Church. After we finish our program we wil gather for refreshments.
It's a memorable evening and all are welcome.
